God is on the move - Exciting Announcements

Dear Readers

I hope you are all well and enjoying yourselves these days. The weather has been absolutely stunning this past weekend, with temperatures over 32 degrees, the hottest so far. I hope you are all having moments with God in the midst of planning holidays, staycations, family and friends, BBQs and so on. Jesus is there, and He can be in all of it if we allow Him. There is a beauty and a wisdom He provides for us when we are in the midst of planning, crises, or successes. He has our hearts in His hands and keeps us close to His heart if we allow Him.

This is a great opportunity to allow Him into our plans and ideas before we get carried away, because He knows what we need and where the joy is. Let's be honest, how many of us have planned things and missed God, or they were a disaster? Or we desperately wanted something to happen and, for one reason or another, it didn't, only for us to later feel relieved or grateful that God had something better for us…

Nonetheless, this blog is not a summer blog but an announcement blog about the wonderful things that God has for us, and we are so excited to share these things with you because we truly value you and want to let you know what God is doing in our lives. It is also an opportunity for you, dear friends, to partner with us through prayer and in other ways if you wish.

UGANDA MISSION TRIP

Josh and I have received the go-ahead from Jesus to go on mission to Uganda to share the gospel with non-believers in the chosen cities (to be announced soon), but also to encourage the church in God's Word, particularly in intimacy and evangelism.

The Lord is allowing us to join our friends and their ministry called “Jesus to All Nations” in conducting youth crusades where the gospel will be preached in secondary schools to young people in various cities for five days. This is such a beautiful ministry that loves Jesus, and it is a privilege to work with them on this mission.

This ministry is led by Daniel and Katrin Smenes, a German couple and their team, who were also in Sarah’s “Evangelism Bootcamp” graduation class of 2021 from “Christ for All Nations” and are good soil.

On the weekends, we will be hosted by a church partnering with our ministry to put on our events called “Fellowshipping with Jesus.” We felt the Lord lead us to share a simple message of intimacy and life with God to churches wherever we go, and Uganda will be no exception.

How can you pray us?

Please join us by praying for us to stay spiritually alert to God's intimacy in the midst of all the planning. Pray for the logistics and open doors with churches as we minister to the Lord together. We also want many young people to come to the Lord Jesus during this time and for the church to be revived in evangelism and intimacy.

We are also believing God for the finances for Uganda and all that it entails. Therefore, if you can join us in praying concerning all of the above, that would be wonderful.

LIGHTUK PODCAST

The second announcement is equally exciting, and that is we have a new podcast that will be released at the start of July 2026. Let us know which podcast art below you that you like.

We have sown into this project through prayer, planning, and financially because we believe God wants to use this podcast to empower believers within our sphere of contact to go deeper with God.

This podcast will feature Josh and I for the first season, and we will also have special guests who will come to share their expertise and journeys with God in season two and beyond.

We have prayed, and God has worked with us to get this off the ground, so please be on the lookout for the announcement of the podcast release a few weeks before the launch date. The plan is that our faithful supporters receive the podcast link first before everyone else.

How you can pray for us

Pray that these podcasts will impact people for Jesus, that the gospel will be preached, and that people will come to the knowledge of Jesus through them. Pray for us to be spiritually filled and focused on Jesus as we record regularly, and to follow the Holy Spirit rather than what is trending.

LIBERTY CHURCH ROTHERHAM YOUTH

Sarah and I will be regularly sharing the Word of God and serving at the Liberty Church Rotherham youth meetings. We are grateful to serve the youth pastors, Zach and Natasha Gray, who are our dear friends, and we feel privileged for the opportunity to give back to young people and see Jesus impact their lives.

Finally, we are so grateful for your support and prayers for us as we move forward in what God is leading us to do. We are excited for all the things Jesus has asked us to do and therefore welcome your prayers for provision, spiritual strength, and discernment, as well as for non-believers to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and become connected to a local church.

Please also pray for our work and support for churches to continue as we seek to encourage the church in God's Word and evangelism.
